At SLB India, I interned in both the Sustainability Lab & CSR divisions on different projects. At the sustainability lab, I worked with the engineering and innovation team to convert some of the diesel into Biodiesel. A mixture of 20% biodiesel with 80% diesel was found to be optimal. This hybrid fuel blend (B20) would reduce carbon emissions by 13% and be commercially viable.

At the CSR Division, I worked with their Ground operations team to install 4 check dams in 4 villages. These dams had a cumulative capacity of 42500 m3 of water which is sufficient for the freshwater needs of the village for 9 months when it wouldn’t rain. Post the successful implementation of the projects, I collaborated with SLB India on 2 of my independent initiatives- HydroLess & RainVault, utilizing CSR funds allocated by SLB & Ambuja Cements to implement them.
